Today I went to my mentors Pinterest page (she also happens to be one of my many sisters lol) & repinned some more Origami Owl pictures to my Origami Owl board.

I also went & read posts on her upline's DIW FaceBook page.
Later on tonight we have a conference call with headquarters that's available to everyone whether they're designers or designers in waiting so that is very exciting!!!
I've been working on clearing out an area of my living room to set up my office in. Lots to do!
Until next time - keep dreaming...

I am a DIW...

What you may ask is a DIW? I am a Designer in Waiting. I officially signed up back in April, about the 8th to become an Independent Designer with Origami Owl! I am very excited & finally decided I should start blogging about whatever time I have left in waiting. I have never really worked in this type of direct marketing & I really like how much this company promotes helping each other to build stronger woman.
They are a relatively new company since Bella only founded it in 2010 at the age of 16; so I feel like I still have a chance to get in if not on the bottom floor, at least not up in the nosebleed seating, if you know what I mean. I know this company worries about things like quality & production which is why there even is a wait list. They only let designers in, in set waves, to insure they can take care of current designers, customers & then new designers.
My sister became a designer & I loved their products. I got a locket & filled it with some of my favorite things. Then I got Kynee, my granddaughter a locket with some of her favorite things. As soon as I found out Origami Owl had partnered with Rascal Flatts for a "Changed for the Better" Tag/CD collection I of course had to order that, well actually I ordered several of the Tags for gifts! My sister kept pointing out how much I would save if I'd have a 'Jewelry Bar' or just sign up to be an Independent Designer because there are so many more things I want either for myself or to get as presents. I had to admit my younger sister was absolutely right :-) so I signed up.
In May, the week or so before Mother's Day, Origami Owl, did as much business as during the entire year of 2012! Talk about growth, that's just amazing to even consider.
The vast majority of my business will be internet based, that & using 'Take Out Party's or what some companies call catalog parties.
I still have lots of files to read, supplies to buy & things to get organized but this is a chance to be able to make my life a little bit better & maybe help someone else out along the way.
Until next time...Keep Dreaming...
